Tablets should be taken with sufficient amount of water swallowing whole without chewing. Try to take tablets at the same time each day with or without food. Your doctor may want you to follow a gluten-free diet.

Information: The preparation should not be taken singularly and is in most cases used with Ritonavir. The combination is taken during the meals. The type of food eaten does not affect the absorption of the drugs. The preparation is taken orally. No dosage correction of the combination is necessary in patients with renal disorders. Tablets and capsules should be taken with sufficient amount of water swallowing whole without chewing. Do not chew and crash tablets. Diltiazem should be taken at the same time each day. This will help to maintain the constant level of the medication in the blood. Diltiazem capsules can be opened, and you can sprinkle the contents onto a spoonful of applesauce. The applesauce should not be hot, and you should immediately swallow it whole (without chewing); follow the applesauce with a glass of water. Tablets can be taken with or without food. Capsules should be taken on empty stomach.
