Famciclovir
Trade Names:Famvir
Information: The drug is taken without maceration, washed down with sufficient quantities of water. The preparation should be taken with caution in patients with compromised renal function. In elderly patients with normal renal function no dosage change is necessary. No dosage change is required in patients with liver disorders.
Famotidine
Trade Names:Pepcid, Quamatel, Famosan, Ulfamid
Information: Famotidin should be taken 2 hours after the application of ketoconazole or itraconazole. Sudden cessation of the therapy may cause abstinence symptoms. The dose for patients with liver or kidney disease should not exceed 20mg daily.

Felodipine
Trade Names:Plendil
Information: The treatment with felodipine should be carried only under your health care provider supervision. For the medication to be effective should strictly follow the dosage regimen. Tablets are taken with sufficient amount of water swallowed whole without chewing. Because felodipine comes in extended-release tablets, they should not be crushed, broken, or chewed.
Fenofibrate
Trade Names:Tricor
Information: Patients should follow n an appropriate lipid-lowering diet before receiving Fenifibrate, and should continue this diet during treatment with the medication. The medication comes in the form of tablets which are taken orally (by mouth). Try to take the medication at the same time each day. This will help to maintain an even level of the medication in your blood. If you are taking a bile acid sequestrant, make sure to take your Fenofibrate more than one hour before or more than four hours after the bile acid sequestrant.
Ferrous sulfate
Trade Names:Feosol, Fergon, Ferrex
Information: The drug should be taken orally without mastication and before a meal or in an hour after the meal.
Fexofenadine hydrochloride
Trade Names:Allegra, Telfast, Fastofen, Tilfur
Information: Fexofenadine orally disintegrating tablets should be dissolved on the tongue. Be sure to swallow it after the tablet has dissolved. You should carefully shake Allegra oral suspension before the application.Do not take fexofenadine with milk or juices.

Fluconazole
Trade Names:Diflucan, Mycosist, Syscan, Trican, Funzol
Information: In children and infants the medication is difficulty eliminated out of the organism. Patients with kidney failure(CC<50ml/min) require the correction of dose regimen. Fluconazole is used orally (in the form of capsules and suspension) or can be infused intravenously(solution for i/v injections) via infusion with a speed not more than 10ml/min/. The route of administration depends on the clinical condition of a patient. Fluconazole capsules should be completely swallowed. For the preparation of fluconazole suspension 24 ml of water should be added and carefully agitated.Before each application the suspension should be agitated. Solution for i/v injections contains sodium and thus should be used with caution in patients with hypenatriemia and high blood pressure.
Flucytosine
Trade Names:Ancobon
Information: The preparation is often used in combination with Amphotericin B to avoid possible resistance development. The drug should be taken with caution in patients with impaired renal or hepatic function.
Fludrocortisone
Trade Names:Florinef
Information: The preparation may be used as additional treatment. The preparation should be used in the minimum effective dosages in order to avoid possible side-effects. The dosage of Florinef should be lowered gradually.
Fludroxycortide
Trade Names:Haelan, Cordran
Information: Haelan is intended only for topical use. Do not take the medication by mouth. When you apply you inevitably absorb some of the medication through your skin into the bloodstream. This may result in several unwanted side effects. Avoid using this medication on your face, near your eyes or on body areas where you have skin folds or thin skin. Do not cover treated skin areas with a bandage or other covering unless it is prescribed by your doctor.
