Information: The preparation is sold under 2 forms for monotherapy it is prescribed as Fortovase and for combined therapy with ritonavir it is prescribed as Invirase. In order to decrease the possibility of side-effect appearance it is recommended to strictly abide the dosing schedule. The preparation is administered orally not later then 2 hours after food intake. In patients with mild liver disorders a dosage correction is not required. In patients with severe liver failure the preparation should be used with caution. Patients with renal impairment should use the drug with caution. The preparation should not be taken in children under 16 years old and elderly patients after 60 years.

Sertraline
Trade Names:Zoloft
Information: The dose of the medication in patients with liver disease should be reduced. Sertraline should be taken not earlier than in 14 days after therapy cessation with MAO inhibitors. Sertraline tablets should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking tablets on your own initiative. Abruptly stopping medications like sertraline can result in withdrawal symptoms. Sertraline tablets are taken each day with enough fluids at the same time to maintain an adequate blood level of the medication. It is recommended to take the medication after food intake to avoid possible stomach disturbances.

Information: The preparation is taken orally once a day. In elderly patients dose adjustment is not necessary. In patients with mild and moderate renal failure dose correction is not needed, however in patients with creatine clearance lower then 30ml/min the maximum dosage must not exceed 25 mg. Patients with liver failure should decrease their maximum dosage to 25mg.
Simvastatin

Information: Your Simvastatin should be taken orally in the evening with or without food. Take the medicine with sufficient amount of water swallowing whole. Do not chew, crash or break the tablets. Remember that lowering cholesterol begins with lifestyle changes (such as weight loss, low-cholesterol diet, exercise, etc.). If lifestyle changes alone do not lower cholesterol to a desirable level, cholesterol medication such as Simvastatin may be necessary.
